Dairy Services
Pregnancy Testing
- Using the latest ultrasound technology to provide accurate fetal ageing, early/late cut offs or yes/no pregnancy diagnosis depending on your needs.
- All vets are proficient in manual pregnancy diagnosis when required.
Reproductive services
- Metrichecking: Identifying endometritis or “dirty cows” and treating, we can provide this service or train farm staff to complete the metrichecking themselves.

Disbudding

Dry off & heifer teatsealing service
- We have a professional and efficient team to assist with the dry off of dairy herds as well as heifer teatsealing with a trailer. Every team member is trained and assessed each year to ensure a high standard of work.
Animal Wellbeing Plans & RVM
- Helping farms to meet their obligations for shed inspections and under the Fonterra Co-op difference scheme.
- Additional animal health planning is available on request.
Trace elements
- Testing at key times of the year via blood samples, liver biopsy or meat works. Analysis and supplementation advice to fine tune your herd performance.
Lameness
- Treatment of individual lame animals as well as consultancy services and staff training.
BVD
- Testing individuals as well as analysis of bulk milk samples and control plans.
Delivery services
- Our experienced team of technical advisors offer a same day delivery service for animal health products to help keep your farm running smoothly

Ram breeding soundness (Ram run)
- Ensure your ram team is up to the task, with blood tests for Brucella ovis screening/accreditation as required

- Testing and management plans to control infectious disease such as BVD, Leptospirosis, clostridial diseases, Campylobacter, Toxoplasmosis and Salmonellosis to name a few.
Animal health planning
- Consultancy services to ensure maximum animal production, can be linked with our agronomy team to give a “one stop shop” overview for the year.
